SOLIDWORKS CAM uses rule-based machining to enhance the programming process while using tolerances assigned to components. Rule-based machining allows you to focus on key areas of the manufactured part without having to touch every feature that needs to be machined.

Tolerances and annotations in the 3D model are used to automatically create machining programs. TBM automatically adjusts the asymmetric tolerance to the average tolerance of the tool strategy.
